Psychological reassurance among University of Khartoum students and its relationship to some demographic variables in Khartoum State
-
Overview:
This research aims to know the relationship between psychological reassurance and some demographic variables related to university students, represented by "gender, age, specialization", and to achieve this goal, the researcher used the descriptive approach, and applied the psychological reassurance scale prepared by Fahd Al-Dulaim and others, on a sample consisting of (300) of whom (150) male and female students from the Faculty of Medicine, (150) male and female students from the Faculty of Arts at the University of Khartoum. The sample was taken by a simple random method, and the data were processed statistically using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) program, using the (t) test for the mean of one community, the difference between the means of two independent groups, and the equations (Cronbach's Alfa and Spearman-Brown). Among the most important results, psychological reassurance among students is characterized by a high degree, and there is no significant correlation between the total degree of feeling psychological reassurance in all its dimensions attributed to the variable of age among students. However, the results of this study did not show any statistically significant differences in the students' overall degree of psychological reassurance and all its dimensions based on the variables of gender and specialization. The results of the study were also discussed, and some recommendations were proposed, the most important of which is supporting psychological reassurance and self-confidence among students through social and academic activities and programs that occupy free time.

Inhibitory effects of Allium sativum extract on sperm physiology in male rabbits
-
Overview:
Garlic is a plant widespread throughout the world and is considered a favorite spice in the Levant. It is cultivated in large quantities in ancient Egypt and Libya as a medicinal plant and is most effective when stored for six months. This study aimed to determine the effects of the aqueous extract of garlic powder (Allium sativum) at doses of (10, 20, 30 mg/kg) on testosterone and the speed, motility, and concentration of sperm in male rabbits. The results showed highly significant differences in the decreased concentration, speed and motility of sperm and decreased testosterone compared to the control group. It was also indicated that semen analysis showed negative effects on the functions of the male reproductive system and the activity of testicular cells, thus weakening sperm formation and producing abnormal and deformed sperm. The results showed a clear decrease in the speed, motility and concentration of sperm in the group treated with the 30 mg/kg dose. The results also indicated that excessive consumption of garlic extract leads to decreased sperm motility, disturbances in the level of follicular functions, a decrease in testicular weight and Leydig cell activity, which leads to a decrease in testosterone production.

Improving morphological characteristics of salt-stressed wheat plants using a mixture of sea grass Posidonia oceanic and indole butyrate.
-
Overview:
Salinity is one of the most serious environmental phenomena threatening the growth and productivity of agricultural crops near the Libyan coast. Two experiments were conducted to improve the morphological characteristics of Marjawi wheat under the influence of salinity levels of (0.0, 100, 200, 300 mmol/L) sodium chloride, and to treat them using several treatments, including (soaking in indole butyric acid (IBA) at a concentration of 750 ppm, and soaking in aqueous extract of sea grass Posidonia oceanic at a concentration of 5% for 6 hours), for the plate experiment, and (spraying with IBA at a concentration of 750 ppm, and treating the mixture by adding raw sea grass powder and spraying with IBA) for the pot experiment. The results showed that exposure of wheat plants to different salinity levels led to a significant decrease in the percentage of seed germination, root and panicle length, their fresh and dry weights, plant height, fresh and dry weights, number of branches and leaves/plant, root and shoot length, leaf surface area, and fresh and dry weights of spikes compared to the control. In general, the concentration of 300 mmol/L recorded the largest rates of decrease, preventing the development of the root and the appearance of panicles and spikes. Pre-soaking treatments for seeds were not successful in alleviating salt stress. Foliar spraying with IBA led to a significant decrease in the negative effects resulting from salinity for most morphological traits. It was also noted that the (mixture) treatment outperformed in recording the best rates in improving the morphological traits of salt-stressed wheat plants compared to the spraying treatment with indole butyrate and the control.

The agreed-upon and disputed sources of Islamic legislation, and their objectives
-
Overview:
This research revolves around one of the most important topics in Islamic jurisprudence, which is the sources of Islamic legislation, whether agreed upon or disputed, and their objectives. This is in two main axes: As for the first research: it contains two demands: The first demand sheds light on The original agreed-upon sources, which are four, each of which is made into an issue, and they are: the Noble Qur’an, the Prophetic Sunnah, consensus, and analogy. As for the second request, it was to talk about the secondary sources that are disputed, and each of them is an issue, and they are: istihsan and istiṣḥāb. And the general interests, and custom, and blocking the means, and the legislation of what came before us, and the sayings of the Companions. As for the second topic, she spoke about the objectives of Islamic legislation, and that is in two sections: As for the first section: the meaning of objectives, their types, and the ways to prove them. In the second section, she spoke about the types of objectives, which are five, each of them in a matter, which are the preservation of religion, the soul, and the like. Mind, offspring, and money. Then a conclusion with the most important results.

Ibn Hazm Al-Andalusi and his approach to interpreting the Holy Qur’an through his works (an analytical study)
-
Overview:
This research aims to introduce Imam Ibn Hazm al-Zahiri al-Andalusi and explain his approach to interpreting the Holy Quran through his writings in many fields.
He agreed with the early Muslims in their methods of interpreting the Quran, interpreting it based on the Quran, the Sunnah, or the Arabic language. His reliance on the sayings of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) and the Successors (Tabi'in) often served to support his arguments and strengthen his arguments.
This research also demonstrates that Ibn Hazm took the apparent meaning of the text contained in the Quran or the Sunnah, ignoring its underlying meanings, secrets, and concepts. He refuted other legal evidence based on personal opinion and independent reasoning, rejecting analogy (qiyas), istihsan (jurisprudence), and other forms of evidence. He would rarely cite analogy, even though he rejected it. - Published at : : 2023-01-29 00:00:00

Al-Rummani made great strides in rhetoric in presenting rhetorical classification and clarifying its chapters and terminology. His goal in that was to reveal the eloquence and miraculous nature of the Holy Qur’an. He multiplied its evidence and clarified its rhetorical significance. He did not mention poetry or other heritage except to show the miraculous nature of the Qur’an and that it is at the first peak, and how could it not be when it is the speech of the Lord of mankind?

Ibn Battel's Jurisprudential Directives on Financial Transactions - A Theoretical and Applied Study, with the Book of Salam as a Model
-
Overview:
Every statement, fatwa, or ijtihad has a basis and foundation in the religion to which it can be referred for verification. However, in many cases, the mujtahid does not explicitly state his source or basis for it. This is perhaps the reason why many imitators avoid seeking evidence and reasoning, given that the fatwa is issued by someone whose knowledge and piety they trust.
Fiqh guidance is based on this premise, giving Islamic jurisprudence a comprehensive and innovative capacity. It is renewed with new events and allows for the assimilation of new developments, by referring branches to the comprehensive legal evidence that encompasses all details. It also allows for the general objectives that Islamic legislation was established to preserve, in the form of important issues that jurisprudence has paid great attention to.
This research includes some theoretical consideration of the term "fiqh guidance" in the Maliki school of thought, and an explanation of some of its meanings and aims according to Ibn Battal in financial transactions, while mentioning and discussing some examples and models of this from the book "Al-Salam." - Published at : : 2023-01-29 00:00:00

Preparing and standardizing the religious commitment scale
-
Overview:
The aim of the research was to demonstrate the steps for preparing and standardizing the religious commitment scale (2022 AD), and the characteristics that must be available in the objective test that accurately measures what it was designed for to demonstrate its validity and reliability. To achieve this goal, the researcher used the descriptive approach. In its initial form, it consisted of (40) phrases distributed over four areas: (doctrinal commitment, devotional behavioral commitment, commitment to good morals, and social communication commitment). Its apparent validity was determined using the arbitration method according to the opinions of (11) arbitrators specialized in Sharia, law, and psychology. Two phrases were excluded from the scale because (100%) of the arbitrators' opinions did not agree on them, and the researcher retained (38) phrases. The study population amounted to (17,325) students, from whom a sample was taken using the proportional stratified method, amounting to (435) male and female students from some government universities in Khartoum State, by taking (2.5%) from each stratum of the original community members. Then, the validity of the scale was estimated by calculating the correlation coefficients between the scores of its (38) phrases with the total score of the scale for an initial sample of (60) male and female students, as well as between the total scores of its fields with the total score of the scale. In light of that, (6) phrases were deleted, so the scale in its final form included (32) phrases. Then, the stability of the scale was estimated using the test-retest method with a time interval of (14) days between the two tests. It was later shown that all the phrases of the scale were distinctive in light of the statistical analysis procedures for them in a basic study on a sample consisting of (435) male and female students from some scientific and humanities colleges from some government universities in Khartoum State. By applying the Cronbach's Alpha and Spearman-Brown equations to the sample data, it appeared that all the reliability coefficients for the sub-scale scores were greater than (0.72). The researcher made some recommendations, the most important of which was: generalizing the scale to the states of Sudan for use as a local tool for rooting psychological studies.

The role of civil society organizations in rebuilding societies after complex crises (voluntary return in Darfur as a model)
-
Overview:
The study aimed to identify the role of civil society organizations in rebuilding communities after complex crises, to determine the extent to which civil society organizations' activities contribute to rebuilding communities after complex crises and voluntary return, and to outline the measures and programs implemented by civil society organizations to rebuild Darfur society through voluntary return. The study followed a descriptive, analytical, historical, and inferential approach. One of the study's most important findings is that there are numerous attempts by civil society organizations to achieve development in general, as a result of the global transformations and developments witnessed in development economies. On the other hand, there is a growing need for civil society and its organizations to solve complex problems and crises. Civil society organizations play an effective and influential role in addressing the reconstruction of communities after complex crises. Partnerships for activities between the government and civil society organizations are beginning to emerge through projects to support families and affected groups and to rehabilitate areas affected by disasters, wars, and conflicts. The study recommended a number of recommendations, including the importance of activating the role of civil society organizations in providing emergency intervention opportunities during emergencies and complex crises and providing urgent absorption programs. It also recommended coordination between civil society organizations and state agencies specializing in dealing with complex crises after conflicts, wars, and disasters, in a manner consistent with the needs of society, especially with regard to professional capabilities and compatibility with work needs, and developing the spirit of initiative among volunteers and utilizing their capabilities in this regard. Civil society organizations should benefit from technological development and employ it to facilitate and accelerate their work in reaching needy and marginalized groups, while working to raise the level of coordination between organizations, based on collective responsibility.

Dialogue of Civilizations through the Journey of the Son of Tuwair to Paradise
-
Overview:
Dialogue between cultures and civilizations, with its foundations of convergence, integration of experience, and clarity of paths, is an unavoidable option for establishing mature societal foundations based on harmony, not discord.
"Rihla" is a literary and geographical term that often refers to an artistic product that seeks to theorize the literature of travel and journeying.
For the Shinqiti, journeys were a primary concern and a pressing need, necessitated by Bedouin life, and their popularity was heightened by the harshness of nature and the strength of their adherence to religion.
Therefore, they traveled the earth seeking the grace of God, the Guardian of the Sacred House, seeking high chains of transmission and authorizations. They returned to their people with abundant wealth and precious books. This was after leaving behind in the Levant a prominent imprint of their culture. - Published at : : 2023-01-29 00:00:00

The legal framework for the crime of environmental pollution
-
Overview:
Environmental pollution is considered one of the most complex issues of our time, capturing the attention of specialists in various fields and different human societies, regardless of their legal and social systems. The dangers surrounding the environment from pollution and the threats it poses have become a kind of challenge that humans must face. The environment has become overwhelmed and cries out for help due to the damage it has suffered as a result of this pollution, and is unable to treat it automatically. Humans have begun to suffer from the pollution of all elements of the surrounding environment, including water, air, food, and soil. The disturbing noise and harmful radiation have increased. The problem of pollution has emerged and its danger has increased with the advancement of industry and the widespread use of modern machines and tools. The major industrial countries were the first to discover this problem and its dangers and to search for appropriate solutions to address it by establishing laws that regulate the relationship of humans with their environment and regulate their behavior.

Sentences with fixed meanings: an applied study in the structure of (ḥabẓā)
-
Overview:
Certain styles have been developed in the Arabic language to convey specific and specific meanings that are only known through their structure and tools. Among these styles are the styles of praise and blame, which scholars have expressed with the words "na'am" (good) and "ba'is" (bad), to express the feelings of praise and blame that reside within the soul.
"Habbatha" (likely "like") also denotes general praise, and is used in the same way as "na'am" (likely "good"); however, it goes further in that it makes the praised object more intimate.
I have demonstrated the differences among grammarians regarding the structure and simplicity of "Habbatha" (likely "like"), and I have presented their opinions with arguments and evidence. - Published at : : 2023-01-29 00:00:00

Fatwa centers in Sudanese higher education institutions
-
Overview:
The problem of this research lies in the fact that a number of Sudanese universities have established specialized scientific centers entrusted with the task of issuing fatwas to their members and to other Muslims in the country where the university is located. Many of these centers influence the fatwa industry, guiding Muslims, and resolving problems, which emphasizes the necessity of introducing them and searching for ways to advance and develop them, and standing on their efforts and how to produce fatwas in them. The importance of this research appears in its connection to fatwas and issuing fatwas. The importance of fatwas and the mufti and people’s need for them to respond to what is difficult for them in matters of their religion and their worldly life is not hidden. The importance of the research increases in its connection to these centers that serve society and contribute to linking its fabric and mending what was torn by family disputes and others. These centers work to issue fatwas to those inquiring about the university or its region, and then the society recovers and its affairs are reformed by the blessing of knowledge and its great benefit. The method used in this research is the analytical inductive method. This study showed that those who directly issue fatwas in these centers are faculty members specialized in Islamic sciences, and they may seek assistance from some other specializations if necessary. The existing fatwa centers do not work exclusively in issuing fatwas; rather, some of them work on studies and research, managing advocacy convoys and awareness work. The existing fatwa centers in higher education institutions are very few, barely equaling one percent compared to the number of universities in Sudan. The researcher recommended that university administrations take care of these centers, adopt their programs, implement their plans, and appoint competent people to them.

-
Overview:
This study seeks to understand the concept of magic and sorcery, students' attitudes toward these two phenomena, their awareness of their dangers to individuals and society, and the most effective methods for preventing and treating magic and sorcery. It was based on several questions, the most important of which is the concept of a sorcerer, its types, causes, and effects on society. Imam Al-Mahdi University used a descriptive-analytical approach, a random sample (100) individuals, and a questionnaire. The statistical method was used. Results:
1. The concept of magic is "an act that violates Islamic belief. It is deception, illusion, or spells, incantations, and spells that affect bodies and hearts, causing illness and death, separating a person from his spouse, and separating one spouse from the other."
2. The most common reasons for resorting to sorcerers and seeking their help are a lack of religious restraint and people's ignorance.
3. The effects of magic include family problems, such as hatred and alienation between a woman and her husband.
4. Among the recommendations and suggestions for combating this destructive phenomenon are that educational institutions should educate about the dangers of magic. And sorcery. - Published at : : 2023-01-29 00:00:00

It also aimed to provide teachers with comprehensive educational preparation in their field, and to establish appropriate educational standards in educational institutions for selecting the imitating educational teacher whom the child imitates in the classroom or on the learning stage. These standards include the following:
Defining educational imitation and clarifying its criteria.
Identifying the difference between educational imitation and customary imitation (imitation of customs).
Identifying the language skills acquired by children through educational imitation.
Establishing the criteria for a successful educational imitating teacher.
Identifying the difference between successful educational imitation and negative, reprehensible imitation in the learning stage.
Illuminating what the educational imitator should teach children before imitating in education.
Illuminating the difficulties facing non-Arabic speaking children in Kumasi, Ghana.
The study reached the following important results:
The current study identified a list of listening and speaking skills necessary for children who speak other languages in Ghana - Kumasi. The list included (30) listening and speaking skills.
The study developed a proposed educational unit based on educational tradition to develop listening and speaking skills among non-native speakers in Ghana - Kumasi.
The study found a statistically significant difference between the average scores of students in the pre- and post-tests in favor of the post-test. This confirms the effectiveness of the proposed educational unit, which is based on educational tradition. It also led to the emergence of statistically significant differences in the development of listening and speaking skills among children who speak other languages. - Published at : : 2023-01-29 00:00:00

Community partnership as a strategy for rehabilitating the school education sector in rural areas in Morocco. The case of the two territorial communities of Sidi El Mokhtar and Ouled El Moumneh in the Chichaoua province.
-
Overview:
Community partnership is among the modern strategies that are becoming more important today than ever to support the education and training system and raise its productivity by rehabilitating the school education sector, particularly in rural areas. These areas are most vulnerable to various challenges, particularly at the level of the education and training system.
During our field study, we identified a number of problems that limit the effectiveness of the education and training system in the study area (the Sidi El Mokhtar and Ouled El Moumneh communities). These problems represent a clear model for rural areas in Morocco, given that the status of the educational system in this study area is closely linked to the general framework of the education and training system in various rural areas in Morocco.
The level of community partnerships to rehabilitate the school education sector in the academic field is marked by clear weakness, particularly at two key levels: the partnership between educational institutions and families, on the one hand, and between these institutions and civil society organizations, on the other. The relationship between families and educational institutions is marked by significant weakness, sometimes reaching the point of rupture at various levels. This is due to a number of factors, such as work pressure, illiteracy, and poor family relationships. The same weakness and low level of partnerships prevails between civil society organizations and educational institutions. Most associations in the field of education do not aim to support the school education sector, and even if they do, cooperation between educational institutions and educational organizations remains very limited. This is due to a number of factors, such as scarce financial resources and the limited opportunities and opportunities for engaging civil society organizations to raise the productivity of the education and training system. The current situation today imposes, more than ever before, the need to adopt practical approaches and strategies to enhance community partnership across a range of axes that constitute a social contract for rehabilitating the education and training system. Perhaps the most prominent of these axes are the axis of educational institutions and families, and the axis of educational institutions and civil society organizations, as they constitute a strategic foundation for rehabilitating the school education sector. - Published at : : 2023-01-29 00:00:00

Spatial Information Systems as a Regulatory Framework for Libyan Municipal Management
-
Overview:
Despite individual attempts by some municipalities in Libya to leverage rapid developments in information technology, particularly spatial information systems (GIS), to improve their performance and increase effectiveness, these remain individual initiatives that fall short of supporting comprehensive institutional operations. This has led to the production of limited applications with isolated databases. It is clear that municipalities lack a comprehensive framework to guide them through the development of reliable and comprehensive technical solutions based on a national spatial data infrastructure.
Given that municipalities generally share many commonalities—particularly in terms of tasks, operations, and organizational administrative structures—it is self-evident that a comprehensive regulatory framework is essential to help them develop IT solutions in general and GIS applications in particular. This is because the majority of municipal decisions are spatially oriented.
In this paper, the researcher discusses the issue of developing a comprehensive framework for spatial information systems and adopting them as a tool to support municipal work systems. This framework emphasizes the requirements of municipal institutions provided by this system, in conjunction with other related technologies. This research paper also examines data issues in Libya in terms of sources, sharing, and management, with the goal of creating a unified model for spatial data for municipalities and adopting it as a basis for completing the implementation of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure Project.
Finally, this research paper highlights the similarities between Libyan municipalities, confirming that spatial information systems and information technology applications can be more feasible and effective through partnerships between municipalities. - Published at : : 2023-01-29 00:00:00

Personality traits and their relationship to problem-solving skills among educational counselors in government schools in the Gaza Strip governorates. (Field study)
-
Overview:
In order for an educational counselor to be able to grasp challenges, they must confront them and seek solutions. This will enable them to be positive in their work and adapt to the changes occurring in their work environment and the community in which they live. It is not only important to solve problems that are difficult to overcome, but also to acquire a methodology that enables them to employ it to solve other, diverse problems they face in their lives and make appropriate decisions regarding them.
Life is not without problems, and people vary in their approach to dealing with them. Some people deal with them competently and skillfully, while others are led by their wrong decisions to unexpected results. Therefore, individuals strive to utilize their accumulated knowledge, skills, principles, and experiences to remove existing obstacles, overcome them, and transcend them through a process of insight, mental processing, and effective effort. This goal is achieved through cognitive balance and the acquisition of performance skills to confront and overcome challenges with high efficiency. - Published at : : 2023-01-29 00:00:00

-
Overview:
The subject of abuse of right is one of the subjects that has both a legal and judicial aspect, and is experienced by various courts in the Kingdom at the end of the long stages of disputes before the judiciary, through which the injured party obtains his right, and puts an end to the stubbornness and obstinacy of the aggressor. To frame the subject of this study, we will attempt to clarify and explain the position of the Moroccan judiciary on the theory of abuse of right, limiting ourselves to the position of the Moroccan judiciary on the theory of abuse in donations, the gift contract as a “model.”

Contribution to a statistical and survey study of breast cancer in the municipality of Traghen
-
Overview:
Cancer is a major health problem, the second leading cause of death in the world, claiming the lives of 8.8 million people in 2015. Cancer has existed throughout human history, but the first written historical record of cancer was found in 1600 BC. Cancer is a group of diseases characterized by aggressive cells, which is the random growth and division and the ability of these dividing cells to invade and destroy neighboring tissues, or move to distant tissues in a process we call metastasis. These abilities are the characteristics of a malignant tumor, unlike a benign tumor, which is characterized by specific growth and the inability to invade, and does not have the ability to move. A benign tumor can sometimes develop into a malignant tumor. In this study, we have taken some statistics of cancerous diseases prevalent in the municipality of (Tragn) at the Tragn Teaching Hospital from 2010 to 2020. Through the results of the questionnaire research, a number of (43) cases were collected from the residents of this municipality (Tragn), where the ratio of women to men reached (39.5%). - 60.4%).
Breast cancer is the most common, followed by colon cancer, prostate cancer, and uterine cancer. Breast cancer has received more attention due to its significant importance from a local and national health perspective. - Published at : : 2023-02-21 00:00:00

Evaluating the effectiveness of school health program activities from the perspective of school health coordinators and students in government schools - Gaza Strip
-
Overview:
This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of school health program activities from the perspectives of school health coordinators and students in government schools in the Gaza Strip. A descriptive and analytical design was used, including quantitative and qualitative tools, to achieve the main objective of the study. Random samples from schools were used for quantitative data. An online monkey survey was used to calculate the sample size, which resulted in a sample size of 202. In addition, two focus groups were conducted with tenth-grade students. Two hundred and two school health coordinators in government schools participated in the study, with a response rate of 84%. They completed the online questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). Thematic analysis was used to analyze the focus group transcripts. The study results demonstrated high scores across all areas studied in the school health program; 78%, 86%, 84%, 88%, and 84% for health policy, health education and promotion, nutrition, school health services, and school health environment, respectively. The study found some strengths in various areas. However, there are weaknesses in some points related to some sentences in some of these areas. In the area of school health policy, the study found low responses to the budget allocated to health promotion practices in schools (58%), and to community participation outside the school in evaluating the school health program (62%). Students in schools suffer from unclean bathrooms, often with waterlogged floors and a lack of soap and toilet paper. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that females responded more positively than males (t = 2.334, significance level = 0.021). In light of the results, the study recommends institutionalizing school health programs to establish healthy behaviors and practices in schools. It also recommends monitoring staff and general hygiene practices for both schools and caregivers.

Morphological survey study of Bauhinia variegata trees introduced to Al Bayda city, Libya
-
Overview:
The inventory and documentation of plants and the identification of their morphological characteristics are among the most important means of identifying their species, especially introduced ones. Therefore, this study aimed to inventory and document the presence of camel's khuf trees in the city of Al Bayda and its suburbs in eleven locations, and to describe them morphologically within local conditions. The survey showed the presence of Bauhinia variegata trees in four locations in Al Bayda city (Al Bayda Center, Messa area, Shahat, and Wardamah). It was confirmed that they were introduced to Libya in 1990, but their presence was not recorded in (Al Haniya, Al Hamama, Al Wasita, Omar Al Mukhtar, Aslanta, Qandula, and Qarnada). The results of the morphological study also showed that they are deciduous ornamental trees, the flowering stage begins in mid-April and extends to the beginning of June, and they reach a height of about 9 meters. They have a branched trunk with a diameter of 230 cm, and are characterized by simple, alternate, bi-lobed leaves similar to the camel's hoof, with limited inflorescences. The flowers are five-parted, bisexual, and monoecious, and are characterized by a purple or violet-appearing corolla, one of whose petals is variegated in a dark color. The stamens are long, the ovary is superior and single-chambered, the style is long, twisted, and swollen in front. The stigma is spherical, the anthers are bare, and the fruits are brown pods, and the seeds are circular and flat on both sides.

A field study on genetic diseases and their relationship to consanguineous marriage
-
Overview:
Consanguineous marriage and genetic diseases are important studies in various societies, particularly Libyan society. This is one of the social phenomena most deeply linked to customs and traditions, which are viewed as a source of family stability and social security. This connection means that Libyan society, like other societies, is prone to various types of genetic diseases that negatively impact children. This study aimed to identify the factors that limit genetic diseases resulting from consanguineous marriage and the extent of the impact of this marriage on genetic diseases, in addition to identifying the relationship between consanguineous marriage and genetic diseases. Due to the lack of similar studies on this subject, this research was conducted with the aim of identifying the prevalence of consanguineous marriage and the most common genetic diseases in the eastern region of Libya. Samples were collected through Al-Ishraqa School in Al-Bayda city, and some interviews were conducted with the families of patients, and medical reports and family history were reviewed. The study was conducted on 21,351 cases collected from some Libyan cities from 2003 to 2010. Through it, some of the reasons that contribute to the emergence of genetic diseases were identified, whether the reason was consanguineous marriage or due to external influences. The total percentage of marriage cases showed the presence of congenital malformations at a rate of 3%, and the highest percentage of congenital malformations was clubfoot, mental retardation at a rate of 26%, blindness at a rate of 2%, deafness and muteness at a rate of 5%, hearing impairment at a rate of 15%, muscular dystrophy at a rate of 1%, and multiple disabilities at a rate of 4%, and other diseases at 44%. In this research, we examined statistically these diseases and their relationship to consanguineous marriage. We found clear significant differences between males and females, with the infection rate being higher among males than females. The highest infection rate was in the city of Marg at 40%, followed by Bayda at 35%, then Qubba at 14%, and Shahat at 11%. A comparison between years revealed a significant increase in 2010, estimated at 21%, compared to 2003, at 0.5%.
After analyzing the data, we reached several conclusions, the most important of which is that there are a number of factors that can limit the incidence of genetic diseases resulting from consanguineous marriage. These include requiring premarital medical examinations for married couples and raising awareness through the media about the risks of consanguineous marriage. - Published at : : 2023-02-21 00:00:00

The reality of education in Jordanian public schools
-
Overview:
The study aimed to understand the reality of education in Jordanian public schools/Ajloun Education Directorate. To achieve this, a mixed research methodology (mixed) was used, both quantitative and qualitative. In the quantitative approach, two questionnaires were designed, each consisting of (10) items, and their validity and reliability were verified. In the qualitative approach, focus groups were used with a sample of teachers and in-depth interviews with a sample of parents. The random sample consisted of (330) teachers from the Ajloun Education Directorate for the academic year (2022). The purposive sample consisted of five focus groups, with (4) teachers per group, and (35) individual interviews with parents. The results of quantitative data analysis using SPSS and qualitative data analysis using the inductive method showed: the negative effects of the Corona pandemic on the education sector, a significant increase in the number of students in public schools, the difficulty and intensity of the curriculum and its synchronization with supporting educational materials, which increases the burden on teachers and students, weak infrastructure and the lack of technological resources needed to support the education sector, and lack of interest in healthy food for students.
