The impact of magic and sorcery on the individual and society (an applied study from the perspective of the student community of the College of Education at Imam Mahdi University - White Nile State)

This study seeks to understand the concept of magic and sorcery, students' attitudes toward these two phenomena, their awareness of their dangers to individuals and society, and the most effective methods for preventing and treating magic and sorcery. It was based on several questions, the most important of which is the concept of a sorcerer, its types, causes, and effects on society. Imam Al-Mahdi University used a descriptive-analytical approach, a random sample (100) individuals, and a questionnaire. The statistical method was used. Results:

1. The concept of magic is "an act that violates Islamic belief. It is deception, illusion, or spells, incantations, and spells that affect bodies and hearts, causing illness and death, separating a person from his spouse, and separating one spouse from the other."

2. The most common reasons for resorting to sorcerers and seeking their help are a lack of religious restraint and people's ignorance.

3. The effects of magic include family problems, such as hatred and alienation between a woman and her husband.

4. Among the recommendations and suggestions for combating this destructive phenomenon are that educational institutions should educate about the dangers of magic. And sorcery.

تسعى هذه الدارسة إلى التعرف على مفهوم السحر والشعوذة، واتجاهات الطلاب نحو هذين الظاهرتين، ومدى إلمام الطلاب بخطورتهما على الفرد والمجتمع، وأنجع الطرق للوقاية والعلاج من السحر والشعوذة، انطلقت من عديد التساؤلات أهما ما مفهوم الساحر، وما أنواعه وأسبابه وآثاره في المجتمع جامعة الإمام المهدي، استخدمت المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، والعينة: عشوائية(100) مفردة، وأداة الاستبيان، اعتمدت الأسلوب الإحصائي والنتائج:

1- أن مفهوم السحر “هو عمل مُخل بالعقيدة الإسلامية ، وهو المخادعة والتخييل أو عزائم ورقى وعقد تؤثر في الأبدان والقلوب، فيمرض ويقتل، ويفرق بين المرء وزوجه، ويأخذ أحد الزوجين عن صاحبه.

2- أن أكثر الأسباب الذهاب إلى السحرة وللجوء إليهم ضعف الوازع الديني، وجهل الناس

3 – من تأثير السحر هي المشاكل الأسرية مثل الكراهية والنفور بين المرأة وزوجها.

4- من التوصيات والمقترحات لمحاربة هذه الظاهرة الهدامة، أنه يجب على المؤسسات التعليمية التثقيف بأضرار السحر والشعوذة.
