The Deterioration of human life in vulnerable areas- White Nile State –Sudan
-
Overview:
The study aimed to demonstrate the reciprocal relationship between human activity in fragile areas - semi-desert and open savanna - and drought and desertification. The problem of the study lies in the fact that the Western White Nile region suffers from drought and desertification, which has led to a change in the type of work and human activity in the region. The study reviewed the factors of degradation, both natural (drought and desertification) and human (agriculture, overgrazing, and deforestation). The study reached results of reciprocal influence, including the abandonment of agriculture and firewood, child labor, seasonal migration, family migration, and others. The study recommended the necessity of banning logging, encouraging forest cultivation, and intensifying irrigated agriculture in the region.

The experience of transitional justice and strengthening constitutional protection of human rights
-
Overview:
Since the mid-twentieth century, wars, armed rebellions, ethnic and religious conflicts, and repressive practices have caused immense human suffering, often resulting in the deaths of millions of people, most of them civilians. These horrific events have included genocide, horrific acts of torture, enforced disappearances, rape, massacres, and mass displacement. Institutionalized impunity has protected the perpetrators of these crimes, and public opinion has been in favor of a system that responds to the demands of justice, truth, and reconciliation, especially after accountability. Sometimes this justice was called “post-conflict justice.” In the second half of the last century, the world witnessed the formation of special commissions specializing in transitional justice, called truth commissions or fairness and reconciliation commissions. The countries that initiated this were in Latin America, and then they appeared later in Africa, and so on. The only Arab country that established a transitional justice body was Morocco, after the reforms it witnessed in the mid-nineties of the last century. Based on the principles of peace and democracy, taking human rights into account to redress harm and achieve justice, and designing strategies based on local social, cultural, historical and political development, and striving towards positive preservation of memory and creating a break with the past.

The child's right to a name between jurisprudence and law: a comparative study with Yemeni law
-
Overview:
The birth of a new child is a joyous occasion for parents. This happiness is expressed in various ways, the first of which is choosing a good name for the child. A name represents a starting point for introducing the child to others, helps the child understand themselves, and makes a fundamental difference in a child's life, upon which the question of belonging and identity is built. The name signifies this. We, as Muslims, have a clear and defined identity through the names permitted and permissible in Islamic law. The noble Sharia has set certain Sunnahs and etiquettes for welcoming a newborn, which parents are obliged to follow and act in accordance with in order to fulfill their duty in the best possible way. These include naming the newborn on the seventh day and choosing the best and most appropriate names for him. Accordingly, positive laws and international agreements, including the Convention on the Rights of the Child, have emphasized this right and made it binding on the parties that ratified and signed the Convention from various countries in the world, and have given countries the freedom to organize the provisions related to this right. Yemeni legislation and other Arab positive legislation, including Egyptian, Moroccan, and others, followed the same path. It was necessary for us to mention in this research what relates to the child’s right to a name, who has the right to name him, and what are the desirable names in Islamic legislation. We compare this with international laws, agreements, and local legislation, including Yemen and Egypt, using the inductive and descriptive approach, as it is appropriate for the research.

Rhetorical colors of Abu Ubaidah Ma'mar ibn al-Muthanna (d. 210 AH) and al-Jahiz (d. 255 AH)
-
Overview:
Metaphor, according to Abu Ubaidah, addresses the Holy Quran from the perspective of syntax and meaning. To understand its methods, metaphor, according to him, refers to its linguistic meaning, which is the intended meaning, i.e., the method by which one arrives at an understanding of the Quran and the methods it uses in its expression, which do not depart from the Arabs' method of expression. This aims to demonstrate the miraculous nature of the Quran, as it comes from God, to challenge them and expose their inability, even though they were masters of eloquence and clarity. He would quote a verse from the Quran and cite the prose and verses transmitted from the Arabs. Abu Ubaidah addressed rhetorical issues in his book "Metaphor of the Quran," including:
Metaphor by omission, rational metaphor, precedence and postponement, simile and allegory, metaphor, and metonymy.
Al-Jahiz emphasized the necessity of learning the Arabic language so that students can distinguish between one verse and another. He collected in his books a great many sayings of writers, poets, and orators, and compiled numerous opinions on the principles of literary criticism and the laws of Arabic rhetoric.
He also mentioned the statements of some in defining rhetoric. As for the rhetorical issues of al-Jahiz:
Eloquence of words and speech, the appropriateness of speech to the situation, composition, brevity, the issue of word and meaning, simile, metonymy, metaphor, rhetoric (rhyme, duality, good division, the style of the wise, humor intended to be specific, theological doctrine) - Published at : : 2023-02-21 00:00:00

This research aims to uncover the epistemological style employed by the traditional news narrator in crafting dramatic Basus narratives, imbued with the fragrance of ancient Arab history. Pathos' arguments in sports commentary
-
Overview:
At first glance, studying the arguments of the Patos in sports commentary seems like a fantasy. The first thing that comes to mind is that sports commentary has nothing to do with arguments, and that it is merely words conveying to the listener or viewer what the commentator sees on the field, such as the movement of players, the passing of the ball, or other events that are inconsistent with the nature of rhetoric. However, anyone who listens to sports commentators realizes that sports commentary has become an art in every sense of the word. It is an art that requires its practitioners to possess fluency, fluency, fluidity, quick wit, a good grasp of words, a good choice of appropriate expressions, and a creative ability to conjure up images.

Continuation of rhetoric and the science of principles
-
Overview:
The study of meaning, according to rhetoricians and legal theorists, is nothing more than a study of implicit meaning, as explicit meaning is merely one entry point into the study of meta-meaning, with levels that vary according to research methods and topics, the aims of each discipline, and the scholastic and sectarian backgrounds of its proponents. All studies that have focused on discourse in terms of structure and meaning have examined the nuances of meaning, not contenting themselves with the apparent meaning of a statement or stopping at primary meanings, but rather aiming at the meanings that lie beyond it.

The image of the man in the Saudi woman's poem
-
Overview:
The Saudi poet's discourse differed from that of the Saudi novelist, who saw men as shackles and tyrannize her with their power and authority. In her narrative, she sought to marginalize them, either through murder or impotence.
The negative man, in the novelist's view, was transformed into a positive man in the Saudi woman's poetry, and she melted into him in love through a romantic, dreamy language. The research identified five images of men in the poetic discourse of Saudi women: the lover and friend, the homeland, the knight and the sacrificer, breaking the mold, and the dream. - Published at : : 2023-02-21 00:00:00
