Abstract
The Saudi poet's discourse differed from that of the Saudi novelist, who saw men as shackles and tyrannize her with their power and authority. In her narrative, she sought to marginalize them, either through murder or impotence.
The negative man, in the novelist's view, was transformed into a positive man in the Saudi woman's poetry, and she melted into him in love through a romantic, dreamy language. The research identified five images of men in the poetic discourse of Saudi women: the lover and friend, the homeland, the knight and the sacrificer, breaking the mold, and the dream.
اختلف خطاب الشاعرة السعودية عن خطاب الروائية السعودية التي رأت أن الرجل يكبلها بسلطته وتسلطه، فعملت في سردها على إقصائه، إما بالقتل، أو العجز.
والرجل السلبي لدى الروائية، تحول إلى رجل إيجابي في قصيدة المرأة السعودية فذابت فيه عشقًا عبر لغة رومانسية حالمة، فقد رصد البحث خمس صور للرجل في الخطاب الشعري للأنثى السعودية، هي: الحبيب والصديق – الوطن – الفارس والمضحي – كسر النسق – الحلم.
