Abstract
This study aims to examine the development of the banking system in Sudan. The problem of the study was that, despite the early emergence of the Sudanese banking system, there were numerous problems that hindered its development. The study assumed that the development experienced by the banking system was sufficient to achieve its objectives.
The study adopted a descriptive, analytical, historical approach to highlight the development of the banking system in Sudan.
The study concluded that the development that has occurred in the banking system in Sudan in various aspects is considered a positive development that has contributed to the mobilization and allocation of financial resources in the country, thus contributing to the development process.
The study recommends further reform of the banking system's policies to achieve further development and progress.
يهدف هذا البحث إلى الوقوف على تطور النظام المصرفي في السودان, وتمثلت مشكلة البحث في أنه بالرغم نشأة النظام المصرفي السوداني مبكِّراً إلاَّ أن هناك العديد من المشكلات التي تقف حجر عثرة في انطلاقته. وقد افترض البحث أن التطور الذي مرَّ به الجهاز المصرفي كان كافياً لأن يحقق أهدافه.
اتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي التاريخي لإبراز تطور الجهاز المصرفي في السودان.
وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن التطور الذي حدث في الجهاز المصرفي في السودان في الجوانب المختلفة يعتبر تطوراً جيداً ساهم في تعبئة وتوظيف الموارد المالية في البلاد, وبالتالي ساهم في عملية التنمية.
توصي الدراسة بالمزيد من إصلاح سياسيات الجهاز المصرفي لمزيد من التطور والتنمية.
