ولقد شهد العالم من بعد الحرب العالمية الثانية ومع نهاية القرن العشرين وخاصه بعد اختراع الحاسب الالي في ستينات القرن الماضي وهو النواه الأولى لصناعه التكنولوجيا ومع قدوم القرن الحادي والعشرين زياده مضطرده في دور الحاسبات والمعلومات في تنميه الاقتصاد حيث أصبحت المعرفة هي المحرك الأساسي للإنتاج والنمو الاقتصادي كما اصبح التركيز على المعلومات والبيانات التكنولوجية من العوامل المسلم بها في الاقتصاديات الحديثة مما ادي لظهور مصطلحات جديده مثل اقتصاد التعليم واقتصاد المعرفة والاقتصاد
