خطا الرماني بالبلاغة خطوات واسعة في تقديم التصنيف البلاغي ووضح أبوابه ومصطلحاته ، وكان هدفه في ذلك الكشف عن بلاغة القرآن الكريم وإعجازه ، فأكثر من شواهده ووضح مغزاه البلاغي وما ذكر من الشعر أوالمورثات الأخرى إلا ليبين إعجاز القرآن وأنه في الذروة الأولى وكيف لا وهو كلام رب البشر

Al-Rummani made great strides in rhetoric in presenting rhetorical classification and clarifying its chapters and terminology. His goal in that was to reveal the eloquence and miraculous nature of the Holy Qur’an. He multiplied its evidence and clarified its rhetorical significance. He did not mention poetry or other heritage except to show the miraculous nature of the Qur’an and that it is at the first peak, and how could it not be when it is the speech of the Lord of mankind?
