Abstract
The study was conducted in the Darfur region with the aim of identifying the Sultanate of Dar Masalit and its resistance to French colonialism, showing the political aspects between them and the extent of its impact on Sultan Ali Dinar, tracing their history and their union against the French invasion and the fall of each of them to the British and French, in addition to the emergence of the unique leader Sultan Taj al-Din and his role in fighting the French. The study concluded with results and recommendations.
أجريت الدراسة بإقليم دارفور بهدف التعرف علي سلطنة دار مساليت ومقاومتها للإستعمار الفرنسي وأظهار الجوانب السياسية بينهما ومدي أثر ذلك على السلطان علي دينار وتتبع تاريخهما واتحادهما ضد الغزو الفرنسي وسقوط كل منهما على الانجليز والفرنسيين، علاوة على ظهورر القائد الفذ السلطان تاج الدين ودره في محاربة الفرنسيين وخلصت الدراسة إلي نتائج وتوصيات.
