The poetics of rap songs - Moroccan rap as a model

This article aims to uncover the major intersections between two discourses, one of which has received scholarly attention, while the other has remained isolated from analysis and research: poetry and rap. These two discourses are seemingly disparate, yet connected and interconnected at their core, given their shared reliance on creative expression, aesthetic rhythm, and exquisite meaning. To uncover these intersections, we decided to conduct a comparative study between Arabic poetry and Moroccan rap, focusing on the defining elements of poetry, such as meter, rhyme, imagination, and purposes.

يهدف هذا المقال إلى الكشف عن التقاطعات الكبرى بين خطابين، حظي أحدهما بعناية الدارسين، بينما بقي الآخر في معزل عن التحليل والبحث، وهما الشعر والراب. إنهما خطابان متباعدان في ظاهرهما، متصلان ومترابطان في باطنهما، نظرا لاعتمادهما معا على إبداعية القول، وجمالية الإيقاع، وروعة المعاني. وللكشف عن هذه التقاطعات، ارتأينا إجراء دراسة مقارنة بين الشعر العربي والراب المغربي، مركزين على العناصر المحددة لماهية الشعر؛ كالوزن، والقافية، والتخييل، والأغراض.
