Evaluation of the quality of groundwater wells feeding residential neighborhoods in (Al-Qubba City and its suburbs)

This study aims to evaluate some groundwater wells feeding residential sector in the city of Quba and its suburbs، where the measurements and analysis included (pH، electrical conductivity، dissolved mineral salts، turbidity، taste، smell، calcium، sodium، magnesium، potassium، sulfates، chlorides، ammonia، nitrates) and indicating the suitability of water for drinking purposes by comparing the results obtained with the Libyan standard specifications and the World Health Organization. The results obtained can be summarized as follows:

The results showed that the following physical and chemical elements (pH، electrical conductivity، dissolved mineral salts، turbidity، taste، smell، calcium، sodium، magnesium، potassium، sulfates، chlorides، ammonia، nitrates) that were tested for the water of the wells specified in the study area، where it showed that all wells fall within the permissible range of international specifications and Libyan specifications. As for biological analysis، the studies showed that the wells specified in the study area fall within the range Permissible for international and Libyan specifications، except for wells numbered (1.3.5.8.10)، this may exceed the permissible range for international and Libyan specifications، and this may be due to the proximity of human activities، sewage، and solid and liquid waste practice

تهدف هذه الدراسة الى تقييم مياه الابار الجوفية المغذية للأحياء السكنية في مدينة القبة وعدد من ضواحيها كعين ماره وبيت ثامر، وشملت القياسات تحليل لكل من (درجة الحموضة، التوصيل الكهربي، الاملاح المعدنية الذائبة، العكارة، الطعم، الرائحة، الكالسيوم، الصوديوم، الماغنيسيوم، البوتاسيوم، الكبريتات، الكلوريد آت، الامونيا، النترات ) وبيان مدي صلاحية المياه لغرض الشرب من خلال نتائج بيانات مختبرات المياه ومقارنتها مع المواصفات القياسية الليبية ومنظمه الصحة العالمية ويمكن تلخيص النتائج المتحصل عليها كالتالي:

ولقد ظهر من النتائج ان العناصر الفيزيائية والكيميائية الاتية (درجة الحموضة، توصيل الكهربي، الاملاح المعدنية الذائبة، العكار، الطعم، الرائحة، الكالسيوم، الصوديوم، الماغنيسيوم، البوتاسيوم، الكبريتات، الكلوريدات، الامونيا، النترات ) التي تم اختبارها للمياه الابار المحدد في منطقة الدراسة حيث اظهرت ان جميع الابار تقع ضمن فئة المسموح به للمواصفات العالمية والمواصفات الليبية، اما بنسبة الى تحليل البيولوجي فقد اظهرت الدراسات ان الابار المحدد في منطقة الدراسة تقع ضمن قيم المسموح به للمواصفات العالمية والمواصفات الليبية عدا الابار رقم (1.3.5.8.10) التي تجاوزت المسموح به للمواصفات العالمية والليبية ويرجع ذلك الي اقترابها إلي أماكن ممارسات الأنشطة البشرية والصرف الصحي ومخلفات النفايات الصلبة والسائلة.
