Caring for the gifted at the level of higher education institutions, Al-Jouf University as a model

Nurturing university students with general talents is one of the most important requirements for building and advancing society. They constitute the foundation that provides society with specialized creative energies. Therefore, they represent an unparalleled human resource. Therefore, they must be identified and provided with appropriate care to unleash their creative potential and invest it in the right direction.

However, this requires identifying them and providing them with enriching environments according to a comprehensive and precise mechanism. This is what this research has concluded. This mechanism addresses their diagnosis according to an integrative approach, which takes into account the criteria of high academic achievement, intelligence of at least 85%, creative thinking, and the characteristics of a gifted personality, each of which should fall within the top quarter of the group to which they belong. The mechanism also includes methods of care, assessment, and requirements.

تعد رعاية أصحاب المواهب العامة من طلبة الجامعة أهم مستلزمات    بناء المجتمع وتقدمه، لانهم يشكلون القاعدة التي ترفد المجتمع بالطاقات الإبداعية المتخصصة، لذلك فإنهم يمثلون الثروة البشرية التي لا تعادلها ثروة أخرى، مما ينبغي الكشف عنهم وتوفير الرعاية المناسبة لهم لتفجير طاقاتهم الإبداعية واستثمارها بالاتجاه الصحيح.

بيد أن هذا يتطلب الكشف عنهم وتوفير المناخات الإثرائية لهم على وفق آلية شاملة ودقيقة، وهذا ما توصل إليه هذا البحث، إذ تناولت هذه الآلية تشخيصهم على وفق الاتجاه التكاملي،  الذي يأخذ بنظر الاعتبار،  محكات التحصيل الدراسي المرتفع والذكاء الذي لا تقل نسبته عن 85% والتفكير الإبداعي وخصائص الشخصية الموهوبة اللذان ينبغي أن تقع درجة كل منهما   في الربع الأعلى من بين درجات المجموعة ،التي ينتمي إليها وتضمنت الآلية  أيضاً كيفية الرعاية والتقييم والمستلزمات.
